The controller is Pikasivut (Business ID 3378015-4, Finland). This policy explains what data we process and why.
What data we collect
- Contact. When you email us or reply to our emails, we receive your name, company name, email address and/or phone number and the content of your message.
- Free assessment. When you request an assessment through the form, we receive your business name, website, email address, optional phone number, country, goal, your consent and the source you came from. The data is stored in a spreadsheet in our Google account, and we use it to prepare the assessment and to contact you afterwards about advertising. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Google Ads clients. If you order Google Ads management, we get access to your Google Ads account to build and manage campaigns, and we process the account's campaign, keyword and performance data to deliver the service.
- Correspondence. The messages you send and our replies.
The English pages of this website have no cookies and no advertising tracking. We count visits anonymously: we record only the page viewed, where you came from (for example TikTok or Google), the device type (mobile, tablet or computer), the page language, and the use of buttons and the form. We do not store your IP address or any identifier that could identify you. The data passes through the Google Apps Script service into our spreadsheet, and Google may process technical data for the service to work. The site's fonts and files are served from our own server.
What we use the data for
We use the data to communicate with you, to prepare the assessment, to prepare quotes and agreements, to deliver and maintain the service, and for invoicing. We do not sell the data or hand it to third parties for marketing.
Emails to businesses
We may contact businesses at their general business contact details to offer Google Ads management. You can opt out of further contact at any time by replying to the message, after which we remove your details from our contact list.
Third parties
- Google: assessment form data is stored in Google Sheets and notifications are sent through Gmail. If you order Google Ads management, we need access to your Google Ads account to build and manage campaigns.
- Hosting and domain providers: the technical operation of the website runs through these services.
Retention
We keep assessment requests and other contact data until you ask us to delete them or the contact ends. Client data is kept for the duration of the agreement and for the period required by Finnish accounting law afterwards.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be corrected or deleted. If you are in the European Economic Area, these rights come from the GDPR. If you live elsewhere, for example in California, you can make the same requests and we will honor them where the law applies. We do not sell personal data. Send your request to akseli@pikasivut.com, and we reply within 30 days.
